Meet Our Massage Therapists

At The Joint Chiropractically, we provide spinopractic massage therapy to help you get out of pain and improve your overall wellbeing. Our qualified staff has been trained by Alexander Oxford, our CEO of Postural Facilitation. We welcome you to learn more about each of our spinopractic massage therapists!

Alexander Oxford, CEO Postural Facilitation

Alexander OxfordAlexander earned a Diploma of Remedial massage in 1993 and an Advanced Diploma of NeuroSpinology in 2005. Alexander also founded Spinopractic Massage utilising deep tissue mobilisation.
Massage changed his life, and he is passionate about giving that gift back to others. The most gratifying aspect of his role is helping people, and it extends in teaching others to become a Master Practitioner of Spinopractic Massage.

As Alexander is passionate about learning more each day, he enjoys taking regular professional development courses to stay up to date with the latest in the field of massage.

Outside of work, Alexander enjoys being with his partner and his daughter. Working out with weights at the gym and going to the movies are a couple of his favourite things to do.

Sonja Walters, Spinopractic Masseuse

Sonja WatersAfter experiencing spinopractic massage from Alex, Sonja knew she had to change her path and have a career in massage. She graduated from the Spinopractic Massage Academy in 2019 and is a Certified Master Practitioner of Spinopractic Massage. It’s her goal to assist you in achieving your goals, lifting you and playing a part in your healing.

When she isn’t with clients, Sonja loves to be active by rock climbing, paddle boarding and walking on the beach. She spends much of her time with her children, watching them play sport or going to movies together.

Hollie Johnson, Postural Facilitation Practitioner

Hollie JohnsonFor more than 20 years, Hollie has been a chiropractic patient. She wished to continue learning about natural health and so has continued her career as a postural facilitation practitioner. She is certified in Spinopractic Massage and Neuro Kinesiology.

It’s important for Hollie to be an advocate for our environment and human rights. She’s involved with a variety of community organisations. In her spare time, she enjoys going to see films, listening to music, reading or swimming.

Emma Jane Stewart, Spinopractic Masseuse

Emma Jane StewartGrowing up, Emma Jane faced health challenges that were alleviated through alternative therapies. Her mum, a massage therapist, taught Emma Jane about the importance of being attuned to the body. Emma Jane holds a Certificate 4 in Remedial Massage and is a Certified Master Practitioner of Spinopractic Massage. Additionally, she is a Neuro-Linguistic Program Practitioner.

When she isn’t working, Emma Jane loves to be outside hiking, skiing and surfing. She has traveled the world as an International Referee for Wheelchair Rugby.
